Q: Why did you join AFFC?
A:  To lose weight and get in shape

Q:  What are your fitness goals?
A:  I am in training to enroll in the police academy.  Some of our requirements include:
  • Pushing a standard patrol car in neutral 15 feet
  • Traverse a balance beam 15 ft on 1 foot
  • Climb through a standard window
  • Climb a 6 ft wall or chain link fence
  • Drag a 165 lb dummy
  • 22 push ups in 1 minute
  • 22 sit ups in 1 minute
Q:  What is your typical workout schedule?
A:  Monday-  arms
      Tuesday- legs
      Wednesday- abs and back
      Thursday- cardio
      Friday- max out

Q:  What results have you seen?
A:  So far, I have lost 23.6 lbs

Q:  What is your favorite thing about AFFC?
A:  The people.  Especially Candace and the This N That class!!!

Q: What words of wisdom do you have for other members?
A:  Don't let your life get in the way of your goals.

Q:  Favorite healthy food?
A:  Cottage cheese and mandarin oranges

Q:  Favorite "cheat" food?
A:  Grilled chicken clubhouse from McDonalds (has 600 calories per sandwich).  I don't cheat very often.

Business of the Month
Anniston Family Fitness Center Salutes Anniston City School system as our August Business of the Month
Anniston City Schools operates 7 schools and employ approximately 200 people and have a current enrollment of approximately 2100 students.  They are lead by Dr. Darren Douthitt, Superintendent since February 2014.  Please wish the Bulldogs good luck this season!
